Dr. David Sycamore MD

Dr. Sycamore is an allergist and board certified otolaryngologist. He has been practicing locally since 2010. He is friendly and approachable and likes to explain the cause of your problems and how to make things better. He enjoys pediatric otolaryngology and is great with kids and their parents. As an ear, nose, and throat specialist, he focuses on problems relating to the head and neck region, as well as treatment of allergies and asthma. He performs surgeries of the head and neck, including tonsillectomy, ear tubes, traditional sinus surgery, balloon sinuplasty, thyroidectomy, parotidectomy, and others.

He has a special interest in allergy treatments including allergy injections and sublingual allergy drops, sinus surgery, thyroid nodules and surgery, and pediatric ENT.

Dr. Sycamore is a family man with a love for reading, travel, gardening, and of course, kids. He likes kids so much that he has seven of his own!

Dr. Sycamore spends time with his patients and tries to make sure that they understand the reasons for their medical problems and have their questions answered before they leave the office.

Joanne Galyen PA-C

Joanne Galyen is a physician assistant that has been practicing since 2008.  She first started working in ENT while living in the Rio Grande Valley.  She moved to Houston in 2008 and continued working in ENT for another 3 years.  She has over 4 years experience working in the ENT specialty and has a special interest in pediatric ENT.  Joanne grew up in McAllen, TX and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Texas Pan American (now known as the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley.  She went on to receive her Masters from this program in 2010.

Joanne is a proud mother of two children, Jasmine and Grayson.  She has been married to her husband, Derek Galyen, for 8 years.  She enjoys watching baseball and football with her husband.  She is an Astro’s fan and he is a Cub’s fan!  Mrs. Galyen loves going out to eat at different restaurants, running and reading Harry Potter.













Jason Behler

Jason Behler has 25 years’ work experience in the hearing aid industry.  In 1993, he started working as a hearing aid technician. In four years he was promoted to supervisor of manufacturing and repair of hearing aids. He supervised and trained employees on building new and repairing hearing aid devices. In 2008, working at Hearing Aid Express, Jason began training as a Hearing Instrument Specialist. He officially got his license in 2009 as a Hearing Instrument Specialist and helped open a new clinic in Sugar Land. Jason ran that office for five years. In 2015, Jason changed to an established office in decline and successfully ran that office until he came to Parkway ENT in March 2018.

Jason’s extensive knowledge at both the manufacturing side and as a Hearing Instrument Specialist gives him a depth of knowledge about hearing loss that is rare to find. He combines this knowledge with his passion for helping others. He enjoyed manufacturing hearing instruments, but his greatest compassion comes from assisting others through improved hearing. Hearing loved ones and friends really matters and he is very passionate in helping patients do just that. He is very proud to work for Parkway ENT, a company that is dedicated to helping people with hearing loss with the very latest technology.

Jason loves spending time with his family, reading, and goes on many shopping adventures with his wife. He has four children and has been married to his wife, Lisa, for two years. Jason is an avid Astros and Texans fan.
